The “Shared experience” page under the “Research” tab is now available. The page summarizes my work as a research specialist in Dr. Uri Hasson’s lab in Princeton University. I did the work more than four years prior to the creation of this page. Therefore, it took me a while to figure out the convoluted steps I employed for the analysis. It also took me some time to let the outcome and the interpretation of the work sink in.
The page is much longer than I expected. In hindsight, that shouldn’t be surprising, because too much background knowledge should be mentioned to understand the method and implication of my work. There is natural stimuli and inter-subject correlation. There is functional connectivity and inter-subject functional connectivity. And there is the shared-response model. I didn’t even touch on the principles of fMRI and rank-based classification. Maybe I’ll explain them in future posts.
So, that’s it. The page is out, but I might re-read and refine it some time later. For now, I’m going to add more contents to this sight. Stay tuned for new pages!
